Luke Russell is from South Windsor, CT. He is currently a Junior at the University of Connecticut where he is a double major in Human Development and Family Studies as well as in Political Science. This will be Luke’s third year on UCMUN staff having previously served as the Director of the Legal Committee and Assistant Director of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs. Luke is excited to be a part of the new role of Director of Education and is looking forward to UCMUN 2008. Outside of UCMUN, Luke is also on staff for the National Model United Nations Conference, where he was the Assistant Director for the United Nations Development Program in 2008. Outside of Model U.N. Luke is a peer health educator, and a Uconn Connects Facilitator. After completing his degree Luke hopes to go on to graduate school and become a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
